DAO: origin

Started in 2016, DAO is a great experiment on Ethereum. DAO is a distributed autonomous organization, which is a remote collaboration and cryptoinvestment method to coordinate people, capital, labor, time and social resources within the organization. The governance of the DAO is distributed, with all funds and assets managed onchain through smart contracts. There is no board of directors and no central control of the organization.
